A student council is a representative body composed chiefly of students chosen by their classmates to organize social and extracurricular activities and participate in the government of a school.  We are comprised of both seventh and eighth-graders and have four officers and two representatives from each homeroom, making our total 44 students.  I also allow students who are not elected to join the student council, which raises our membership to 50 students.
