As part of the high school graduation requirements, students are required to participate in a minimum of 50 hours of community service. These hours can be accumulated over the course of their four years in school; however, students are highly encouraged to finish their hours by the beginning of their junior year. Students may begin to accumulate their hours after graduating from LFCMS.  In order for the community service to count towards the requirement, students are req
uired thand in a permission slip prior to starting, and a log of their hours at the end of the experience. Click on: (Permission Slip) (Community Service Log)

Although placements may be suggested by the Community Service Coordinator, it is ultimately the responsibility of the student to find a placement and to hand in the appropriate paperwork in order to receive credit.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to the Community Service Coordinator, Mr. David Cuozzo, at [email protected]  or check out the Fort Lee High School Community Service Google Classroom
