Administration

Diaz PicCarlor

Dear Lewis F. Cole Middle School Families,

Dr. Carlor and would like to welcome our incoming 7th grade students, parents and guardians to the LFCMS community.   We look forward to getting to know your children as they embark on their middle school journey.

LFCMS serves many purposes in the educational progression of your children but none more important than serving as the bridge between the intermediate school and high school.  The overarching goal is to prepare students for the academic and social transition to high school.  My goal is to cultivate and promote a positive, safe, and motivating climate and culture for students and staff alike.  I look forward to meeting this and many other goals with the collective participation of students, parents and staff.

As I begin my 22nd year in education, I am proud to have dedicated 12 of them to students, parents and staff in the Fort Lee Public Schools.  I joined the Fort Lee Public Schools as an Instructional Supervisor in 2012 and worked closely with teachers and building principals to support the curriculum and programs in all of the schools.  In 2015, I became an Assistant Principal at Fort Lee High School and enjoyed every moment working alongside my colleagues.  During the 2021-2022 school year I transitioned to Acting Principal at School No. 1.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the staff and certainly our young scholars at the elementary level.   As Dr. Carlor and I embark on year three as the administrative team at LFCMS, we look forward to a productive and positive year.

Please make sure to check our "News” tab for the 2024-2025 LFCMS supply list.  Enjoy the  days of summer.

Sincerely,

William Diaz II
Principal
